Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about VetPulse — what we build, where the data comes from, and how we work.
About VetPulse
What is VetPulse?
We build datasets on the US veterinary market — who’s licensed, where they work, and who owns the practice. Teams use them to hire vets, to check a practice before buying it, or to sell to practices. We build the dataset for your question, and we can run the outreach on top of it.
How is VetPulse different from a data provider or lead list?
We don’t sell off-the-shelf lists. Every dataset is built for a specific decision — which means the ownership is traced, the market around each practice is measured, and the file only contains what your question needs. If it helps, we run the outreach afterwards too.
Who uses VetPulse?
Multi-site veterinary operators hiring vets, buyers evaluating or opening practices, and vendors selling into practices and networks.
Data & Methodology
Where does VetPulse data come from?
We source from public regulatory records (all 50 state veterinary licensing boards), publicly available digital footprints (practice websites, professional profiles), commercial geospatial data, and reputation signals. All sources are cross-validated before inclusion.
How do you know where someone actually works?
A licence tells you a vet exists, not who employs them. So we check practice websites and public profiles to work it out. When we matched our 125,000 licensed professionals against LinkedIn, roughly two-thirds had no profile — which is why a generic B2B database can’t answer this, and why the work has to be done directly.
How accurate is VetPulse data?
Every record carries a confidence score and says where it came from. We actively remove records we can’t validate to our standard, even when that makes the file smaller. A smaller file you can trust beats a big one you can’t.
Do you scrape private data or social media?
No. We do not scrape private social networks, gated communities, or personal accounts. Our sources are public regulatory data, public digital footprints, and commercially available datasets.
Working With Us
Is VetPulse a self-serve platform?
No. We scope each project around the decision you’re making — hiring, buying a practice, or selling into one — so the dataset fits the question instead of being a generic export.
How long does an engagement take?
Projects begin at 4 weeks. National datasets typically require 6–8 weeks. Ongoing activation operates on monthly cycles. Timeline depends on geographic scope and enrichment depth.
What does an engagement cost?
Projects start at $10,000–$15,000. It’s built work, scoped to your question — not a software subscription — and it’s meant for multi-site operators, buyers, and sales teams rather than single clinics.
How do I get started?
Email us at contact@vetpulse.ai or hit “Talk to us.” We start with a short conversation about the decision you’re making, the geography that matters, and what you need — then scope the work from there.
Privacy & Ethics
How does VetPulse handle data privacy?
Privacy is part of our decision-grade infrastructure, not a compliance afterthought. We implement encryption, role-based access controls, and retention policies aligned to purpose. We do not collect consumer pet owner data or process sensitive personal data categories.
Can individuals request their data be removed?
Yes. Individuals can contact privacy@vetpulse.ai to access, correct, or request deletion of their data, subject to applicable legal limitations. Verified requests are addressed within required timeframes.
Do you sell data to third parties?
No. VetPulse does not sell personal data to third parties. Data is shared only with clients as part of contracted deliverables and with service providers under confidentiality agreements.
