AnnieVet is inspired by the life and memory of Dr. Bellows’ heart dog Annie. “Annie was the kind of dog you are lucky to have once in your lifetime. She was my constant companion in vet school, and got sick the first week I started practicing medicine. The team of urgent care and emergency vets that cared for Annie inspired me to open AnnieVet. I know the stress of having a sick animal. It’s given me empathy for my patients and their people. Everything I do at AnnieVet honors the special connection between humans and animals, and we’ll always be a comforting place during a difficult time.”
