Westside Veterinary Hospital was established, at its present location, in 1980 by Dr. Tom Ellenburg. It began with one doctor, one receptionist, and one veterinary technician. The practice has grown to four full-time veterinarians, five receptionists, one licensed veterinary technician, seven veterinary assistants, and six animal care attendants. In 2018, we completed a major building and remodeling project to more closely align our physical facilities with the most current, state-of-the-art veterinary medicine practice at Westside Veterinary Hospital

Mission — Our mission at Westside Veterinary Hospital is to provide expert, compassionate, state-of-the-art veterinary care to our patients while fulfilling, to the best of our ability, the expectations of our pet owners regarding their concern for the well-being of their pets. We further endeavor to continuously educate our clients on the acceptable standard of care in the prevention and treatment of known diseases, as well as newly evolving threats, so they can make sound, educated decisions regarding the care of their pets
