We are a small, friendly animal clinic that treats your pets like family. Heather Castleberry, DVM and the team here at Parkway Animal Hospital are passionate about providing your pet with the best possible care. Our office provides full-service veterinary care including bathing, boarding, vaccinations, dental exams, surgeries, pharmaceuticals, and annual wellness checkups to make sure your pet is in top shape!

Dr. Heather Castleberry grew up in Southwest Alabama. From a young age she always knew that she wanted to become a veterinarian. After high school, Dr. Castleberry attended Mississippi State for undergrad and graduated from Veterinary School at Mississippi State in 2000. She then started practicing at a veterinary clinic in Birmingham where she met her husband, Bart. In 2003, Dr. Castleberry and Bart moved to Montgomery, Alabama where she practiced at a clinic in Wetumpka until 2013. Finally, the Castleberry family moved to Auburn, Alabama and bought Parkway Animal Hospital and have been here ever since!
