We're here to treat your pet when they're having an emergency outside of normal clinic hours. No appointment is necessary; simply walk in for prompt attention

Our founding veterinarian, Dr. Abby Buckner, had a vision to form a compassionate team that supports pets and their families with understanding and expertise during emergencies. With that goal in mind, Gadsden Veterinary Associates Emergency Care was created to provide compassionate and expert care to pets during their critical moments

Mission — Our mission is to ensure that pets receive prompt, quality care without the need for a long commute to a distant emergency clinic. We also strive to support primary care veterinarians, who often bear the burden of providing 24/7 care to their clients. By offering overnight and weekend hospitalization with continuous monitoring and treatment, we aim to fill a critical gap in our community's veterinary care
