Mud Creek Veterinary Services

Mud Creek Veterinary Services is a mixed animal veterinary practice that serves the needs of small animal pet owners as well as large animal and livestock owners in Hollywood, Scottsboro and the surrounding communities in Northeast Alabama and Southeast Tennessee. A unique feature that sets this clinic apart from others is that we provide ambulatory and haul-in services for large animals, as well as comprehensive healthcare services for them. In addition to large animals, we also accommodate small companion pets with our complete healthcare solutions

Dr. Elliott has been practicing veterinary medicine in Northeast Alabama since 2006. His specialty is Bovine herd health as well as artificial insemination for both cattle and horses. He established Mud Creek Services in 2008 as an ambulatory service for large animals. In 2012, Dr. Elliott opened the facility in Stevenson to provide care for small animals as well. At the end of 2020 Mud Creek Veterinary Services moved into a brand new state-of-the-art facility in Hollywood, Alabama and Dr. Scarlett Tate joined the clinic in July 2025
