Mobile County's Premier Animal Care Center. At Animal Care of Mobile County, we offer medical, surgical, dental, boarding and grooming for small domestic animals

Dr. Scott W. Owens grew up in Greene County, Alabama, on a cotton and dairy farm. In 1981 he received a bachelor's degree in Animal and Dairy Science from Auburn University. In 1983, Owens graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine, and the following year was awarded the Master of Science degree in animal physiology. He practiced veterinary medicine in Blount County, Alabama, and Shelbyville, Tennessee, before relocating to Mobile County in 1987. In 1993 Owen established his practice in Semmes. The present facility of Animal Care of Mobile County was completed in October of 2010
