Kitties & Kanines Veterinary Clinic provides high-quality, low-cost spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping to the River Valley community

In 2007, a group of concerned individuals formed the 501(c)(3) nonprofit called River Valley Animal Welfare Coalition, now called Friends of Kitties & Kanines, out of the concern for pet overpopulation in the River Valley community. They realized there are 2 main reason people do not spay/neuter their pets. The first reason is due to the high cost. The second reason is having no access to spay/neuter services. Kitties & Kanines Veterinary Clinic opened in 2009 and became the first clinic of its kind in the state of Arkansas. The clinic is proud to provide the River Valley community with a clinic that has a state-of-the-art surgery center and the latest equipment. Kitties & Kanines Veterinary Clinic is currently preforming around 7,000 spay/neuter surgeries and administering over 14,000 vaccines each year. Over the years Kitties and Kanines has expanded services to meet the needs of pet owners. Services provide the resources needed to keep pets healthy and in homes. Our dream is to expand our services in the future to include services that will educate and empower pet owners to be the best pet parents possible
