Dr. Taylor Francis, a Little Rock native and lifelong animal lover, founded Out West Veterinary Urgent Care after recognizing a gap in accessible, high-quality care during the hours when local veterinary offices were closed. A graduate of Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Francis launched his career in Texas before joining Purina as a veterinary consultant. When the pull of home brought him back to Arkansas, he returned to clinical practice in Little Rock and found his calling in urgent care medicine. Out West was built on that foundation: a place where advanced medicine meets genuine compassion, and where every pet is treated like family
