Overview
We are a family owned and operated mixed animal veterinary practice offering both mobile and in-clinic appointments for large and small animals throughout San Tan Valley, Queen Creek, the East Valley, Phoenix, and surrounding Arizona communities. We want every owner to feel like part of our Urban family and know their animals are cared for like our own. Our veterinary team provides routine preventative care as well as medical, surgical, and emergency services for pets, horses, and livestock
Urban Livestock and Equine Veterinary Services began as a mobile-only veterinary practice in the Phoenix East Valley, owned and operated by lead veterinarian, Dr. Racheal (Redman) McKinney, and her husband and Practice Manager, Kade McKinney. In the beginning we primarily saw livestock like horses, goats, alpacas, cattle, sheep, chickens, and especially a lot of miniature pigs! But our client base quickly grew to encompass dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, and other household pets. Going where the needs demanded, ULEVS also started traveling to Yuma county to see clients and patients once a month. Dr. McKinney believes that every patient and case deserves the full extent of diagnostics and treatment that is available to us and strives to treat her patients with the same care and consideration she would her own pets. Founded on those principals, our practice has continued to grow, necessitating the addition of another doctor, more technicians, and office staff to better serve our clients near and far. While we still offer all our mobile services, in 2022 we opened the doors on our clinic location in San Tan Valley, which gives us the capability to complete a wider range of services and surgeries for our patients of all shapes and sizes
