Overview
Established in 1997 in Gold Run, CA, we were one of the first truly holistic veterinary clinics to serve the Sierra Foothills and beyond. Now located in Colfax, California, we practice integrative medicine and specialize in treating small animals with Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine (TCVM)
Dr. Rena Ferreira started a small animal acupuncture clinic in 1997 in a room of the old post office and café in Gold Run, CA. In September 2000, Dr. Peggy Roberts met Rena and later joined her practice. Dr. Peggy completed acupuncture training in 2004 and Chinese herbal training. The clinic expanded to fill the entire building in Gold Run, a satellite office in Colfax was added in 2010, and in August 2012, the two clinics were combined and moved to a larger building in Colfax. The staff has grown from one to eight
