Overview
The Family Vet is a small independent single doctor veterinary practice located within the Animal Wellness Center of OC in Costa Mesa, California. Small by design, new clients are admitted by referral only. We aim to provide friendly, compassionate, professional services and veterinary guidance to a clientele who understands the advantages and limitations of our practice philosophy
Dr. T-na Tran opened The Family Vet in Long Beach on July 25, 2003 with the goal of providing Personal Care for Pets. In short, Personal Care for Pets was the philosophy of providing clients and their pets with veterinary care that best fit their health and lifestyle. Developments within the industry eventually necessitated changes to our original model. In 2021 we relocated our practice to its current location in Costa Mesa, and in 2026 we restarted admitting new patients to our practice, for acupuncture
