Overview

Your pet’s health journey deserves a trusted partner from day one, and that is exactly what we offer at Fox Hills Animal Hospital in Culver City, CA. As an animal hospital near you, we provide comprehensive care designed to support pets through every life stage. Whether you are searching for a vet near you for routine wellness visits or a veterinarian near you for preventive services like pet vaccination and pet dental care, our goal is to make veterinary medicine approachable and effective. We blend attentive service with modern techniques, helping families throughout Culver City, CA, feel confident that their pets are receiving thoughtful, high-quality care

Dr. Girgis earned his veterinary degree from the university of Asyut in Egypt and immigrated to the United States in 1981. He worked at the University of Southern California in the research department for 12 years, where he focused on three major subjects: wound healing (helping diabetic people recover sooner), adhesion prevention (the #1 cause of infertility in women), and the creation of a very strong antibiotic. After receiving his California veterinary license in 1998, he worked for several veterinary clinics as a relief veterinarian. His credits also include two years with the City of Los Angeles animal shelter. In May 2004, he purchased Fox Hills Animal Hospital in Culver City, California

Mission — We believe great veterinary care begins with prevention and grows through consistent monitoring. Our approach is centered on early detection, education, and customized treatment plans. During each visit, your pet is thoroughly evaluated, and recommendations are made based on age, lifestyle, and medical history. Preventive services such as pet vaccination schedules and routine exams are encouraged because many health concerns can be avoided with proactive care. When additional treatment is needed, it is explained clearly, and options are discussed openly
