Fresno Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center was purchased in October 2009, and was formerly known as Central California Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center. Our veterinary family has been at this location since July 2006, serving the Fresno and greater Fresno community. In November 2007, our beloved owner and family member, Roger W. Gfeller, DVM, DACVECC, was tragically killed in a car accident in Madera. While our mentor was lost, the staff of CCVSC remained at his hospital, continuing his dream until the purchase of the hospital was finalized. In spite of everything, many of Dr. Gfeller’s original staff works at FVSEC. We will continue to live out Dr. Gfeller’s dream of providing local specialty services for a committed community
