Overview

We are dedicated to providing high-quality and comprehensive veterinary services for all your furry companions

Our hospital was founded by Dr. Charles Campbell in 1948. At that time, a great amount of animal agriculture and pets could be found throughout Healdsburg. In 1969, Dr. David McCrystle joined the team, purchased the business in 1974, and is still practicing today. The town of Healdsburg has changed a lot throughout the years but Dr. McCrystle’s 'no-nonsense' approach to medicine has remained the same and has kept clients coming back year after year. In the late 1980s, the hospital was remodeled to allow better care and service for the ever-increasing number of dogs and cats in the community. Two examination rooms, a surgery room, and office space were added to the front of the original three room building. In 2005, the hospital was remodeled a second time to provide more exam rooms and a space was created for more complex dental procedures, digital X-rays, and ultrasounds. Dr. Margaret Basurto joined the practice full-time in 2013 and she has been an indispensable addition to our staff
