Overview
Napa Valley Equine is a veterinary practice specializing in horses. Located in Napa, CA, we offer in-hospital and mobile services throughout Napa County and its surrounding areas
Since the 1950s, the clinic property had been used for agricultural and livestock purposes. Originally known as Napa Valley Veterinary Hospital, which opened in the 1970s, our practice has evolved over the decades from a small mixed animal practice to a larger, equine-focused practice. We now consist of five veterinarians, numerous support staff, and three fully stocked ambulatory vehicles. Napa Valley Equine is currently owned by Dr. Claudia Sonder, Dr. Vanessa G.B. Rood, and Loomis Basin Equine Medical Center, with Megan Van Coutren as a managing partner
Mission — To provide the highest quality and personalized veterinary care for all of our patients with a focus on evidence-based modern medicine, compassion-driven client communication, thoughtful team approach, and ethical practices
