Dr. Tanner graduated from the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. He then returned to his hometown of Modesto, California and entered private practice in 1992. He opened Oakdale's Olde Towne Veterinary Hospital at the site of Dr. Ed Taylor's old practice. In 2015 Dr. Tanner moved the practice to 389 West F Street in Oakdale and also changed the name to Family Veterinary Care of Oakdale. In 2021, Dr. Singh and Mary purchased the hospital from Dr. Tanner and have continued its legacy of providing compassionate, high-quality veterinary care to Oakdale and the surrounding communities
