Founded in 1996 and locally owned and operated, Pismo Beach Veterinary Clinic has long been a center for premium veterinary care on the beautiful Central Coast. Our building itself has a long history, reflecting in many ways the interesting story of Pismo Beach. As near as we can estimate, it was built in the early 1920's and has had many reincarnations: first as a general store, then a tattoo parlor, barbershop, and (we strongly suspect) a flophouse. The founders, Dr. Suzanne Hennessy and Kim Foster, purchased the property in 1996 and began extensive renovation to convert it into a veterinary clinic. It has again undergone numerous changes since the current owners, Drs. Joel, Max, and Sarah Conn took over in 2009 in order to make it the state-of-the-art facility that it is today
