Dr. Melissa Hardy’s journey in veterinary medicine began with a strong foundation at Purdue University’s School of Veterinary Medicine, where she received a well-rounded education with a focus on client and patient care. Over the years, she has worked in various practices around the East Bay, gaining valuable experience and building connections within the veterinary community. When the opportunity arose to open a new veterinary practice in Pleasanton, Dr. Hardy knew it was the perfect chance to create something special. With the veterinary field seeing a shift toward corporately-owned hospitals, she felt strongly about establishing a privately-owned hospital where pets and their owners could experience a warm, family-oriented environment. Her vision came to life with Paws of Pleasanton Animal Hospital, where she looks forward to welcoming clients and their beloved pets into a place of compassionate, personalized care
