After becoming a veterinary hospital in the early 60’s, primarily a large animal facility, it soon transitioned to a mixed practice – Atlantic Street Animal Hospital. Shortly after it was purchased in 1997, then named Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital, we added 24 hour emergency care in 1999, and became what we are known to as today, Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center. The first remodel was completed in 2003 when it became an emergency-only hospital; additional structural updates followed in 2006 and 2010. In April 2018, Atlantic Street Pet Emergency Center joined Ethos Veterinary Health, a network of specialty and emergency hospitals with locations throughout the U.S. Ethos Veterinary Health was formed in December 2015
