Led by Dr. Susan Barrett and her experienced team, we provide personalized veterinary care—from wellness exams and dentistry to advanced surgery and diagnostics—so your pets live healthier, happier lives

Since 1981, the mission of the veterinarians and staff at Watt Avenue Pet Hospital has been to assemble and maintain a veterinary health care team committed to providing exceptional client services and outstanding health care for family pets. Dr. Barrett moved to Sacramento in 1981 and opened Crossroads Animal Hospital, followed by Sunrise-Cirby Animal Hospital, Elkhorn-Walerga Animal Hospital and then sold them before opening Watt Avenue Pet Hospital in the Arden-Arcade area in 1995

Mission — At Watt Avenue Pet Hospital, our job since 1981 has been to take care of your pets. We have a team of vets and staff members who are committed to giving you and your furry family members the best medical care and customer service. We always keep learning about new and improved ways to take care of pets, and we use the latest technology to help us do our job better. But most importantly, we treat all pets with kindness and love
