Established in 1987, the Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital is San Diego’s exclusive exotics-only veterinary hospital. For nearly four decades, we have provided specialized medical and surgical care for birds and exotic companion animals. Founded by Dr. Jeffrey R. Jenkins, a Diplomate in Avian Practice with the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, our hospital is recognized for its leadership in avian and exotic medicine
