Since 2018, MexiVet Express has connected pet owners to affordable vet care in Tijuana, Mexico. It all started when Anna Ginsky, Founder of MexiVet Express, was quoted over $2,000 to get her dog's teeth cleaned (and a few removed) at her local vet in San Diego, California—a steep price for a routine procedure. The thought of being out a couple of thousand bucks motivated her to start looking for more affordable alternatives. After researching and talking to friends, she found better options in Tijuana. While driving through the chaotic streets of Tijuana is a breeze for our fearless Founder, it's not for the timid. However, she knew she had to share the wealth of savings with other pet owners looking to save on their vet bill. Thus she came up with the idea of a transportation service, offering pets a ride to veterinary care in Tijuana - and voila! MexiVet Express was born! Anna began building a network of reliable and experienced vets to work with and spread the word about her transportation services. The one-woman show quickly grew into a full team of people wanting to help others care for their pets.
