Dr. Heller graduated from California State University Northridge with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and had a brief career in marketing. It was at that point she decided to follow her lifelong passion of caring for animals and enrolled in veterinary school at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. She obtained her veterinary degree in 2002 and several years later completed certification to become a veterinary acupuncturist through the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society. During her career, Dr. Heller has practiced general medicine and surgery, emergency medicine and toxicology, in addition to holistic veterinary care. Her practice is now dedicated to integrative therapies, pet acupuncture and nutritional support
