We are proud to be the only local, family-owned clinic serving the community for over 60 years. A pet’s love is never conditional, nor is our commitment to you and your pet’s health. We are here to help you make difficult and informed decisions. We prioritize compassionate, modern, and individualized pet care from the moment you walk through our doors until you leave as part of our family
Scotts Valley Veterinary Clinic was opened in 1960. Dr. Charles Miller purchased the practice in pursuit of providing compassionate, family-centered modern medical care. Dr. Miller’s daughter, Emily, joined the clinic as a nurse assistant while in high school and college and then excitedly carried on the family tradition by attending the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2013. A second Dr. Miller (Dr. Em) joined the clinic immediately and worked alongside her father for years. Dr. Em purchased the clinic in 2018 and has been the proud owner ever since
Mission — Dr. Em’s mission is to continue to provide generations of families with the same warm, compassionate care they know while making sure each pet receives the modern medicine they deserve
