Vet Villa Animal Hospital

Our aim is to be the best veterinary clinic in the Pasadena region, where our expertise and equipment are situated in a peaceful environment where pets will feel good. Dr. Swimmer personally designed Vet Villa with her husband, a theme park designer who owns the business next door, to have a beautiful layout and flow. The interior of the animal hospital is bright and airy, with calming blue accents that animals respond well to, so patients will feel welcome. Soft jazz and classical music are played throughout the animal hospital, and the individual patient rooms are designed for patient comfort, with adjustable lighting and call buttons. We strive both to provide the best care, and for visits to feel tranquil and enjoyable for our patients

Vet Villa Animal Hospital was opened in July 2018 by Rebecca Swimmer, whose purpose was to take her knowledge, experience, and passion for caring for animals to provide the best pet care for the community. Swimmer has degrees in Animal Science at the University of Illinois, as well as a Master's Degree in Neurobiology from Harvard, and veterinary school at Tufts. She moved to California to intern at the Animal Specialty & Emergency Center and worked in overnight emergency for several years, which made her a strong doctor who still takes emergency cases and provides stabilization. Transitioning to general practice allowed her the freedom to get to know the animals and watch them grow through all stages in life
