At Five Star Veterinary Center our goal is to provide exceptional, compassionate care for you and your pets. We hope to guide you in your time of need, and teach you to be the best pet owner possible. We all have chosen this occupation because we deeply care about pets and their people. We consider ourselves a family because we feel very close to our patients, and our support staff at Five Star. We hope to be here for you through the good times and bad

Five Star Veterinary Center was established in 1987. Dr. Alexander Stern is our founding veterinarian who after 35 years has retired 6/2022. He had been in practice since 1977, and opened Five Star Veterinary Center in his hometown of Sylmar in the summer of 1987
