Lake Balboa Veterinary Care started out as a small clinic originally named the Dog & Cat Spay Neuter Clinic in October 1981. As the humble name suggests, we began by providing the basic services of spaying and neutering dogs and cats in order to provide an effective means of population control and help keep the number of homeless animals in shelters to a minimum. We have expanded our medical services slowly and recently moved into our current larger location. Although the practice has grown from a handful of clients to many more over the years, we remain committed to the founder’s original guiding philosophy: to provide compassionate and humane care for our patients and their owners
