Beloved Cat, Home Euthanasia was founded after the loss of my bonded pair of senior kitties, Blackbear and Bob. Blackbear battled chronic kidney disease and dramatically declined while traveling out of town with him. Our only option was to pursue euthanasia at an emergency veterinary hospital in the middle of the night. The chaos of his last moments deeply impacted my grieving process. Within a couple years, Bob was diagnosed with intestinal cancer, which rapidly stripped away his quality of life. The circumstances allowed for him to be tranquilly transitioned in my arms, within our home. The peace and calm of his passing at home helped start the process of healing. Because of these life-changing moments, and in honor of my beloved boys, Beloved Cat Home Euthanasia was created to help other families with their pets. As I started helping pets at home during their sunset time, I focused my care on cats due to lifting limitations. I am honored to help both cats and dogs, although I will need assistance with lifting for pets over 20 lbs at visit's end or if burial at home is chosen. With love, Dr. Jennifer Lew
