Overview

The hospital is open everyday to provide free veterinary care to native California wildlife. Because wildlife does not have health insurance, we pay 100% of the medical cost and depend on donations to continue our life-saving work. As we are primarily a volunteer-based organization, we unfortunately do not have the resources to respond to or transport injured, orphaned, or sick wildlife offsite. We treat all California native wildlife that is brought to our hospital with the goal of returning patients to the wild, where they belong

Lindsay Wildlife Rehabilitation Hospital is the first and among the largest wildlife rehabilitation centers in the United States. It treats more than 5,500 injured and orphaned wild animals each year. The hospital is a pioneer in wildlife rehabilitation
