After years of experience in veterinary medicine, including time in corporate practices, Dr. Albane Fauron and Dr. Nick Ruocco III decided it was time to create something different something more personal and patient-centered. In January 2023, they opened Coyote Ridge Fort Collins, taking over a single-doctor practice formerly known as Animal Haven Veterinary Hospital. Through their previous roles, both Drs. Fauron and Ruocco recognized a pressing need in the veterinary field: timely access to care. The pandemic-driven surge in pet ownership, combined with a shortage of veterinarians, meant that many pet owners faced long wait times sometimes days or even weeks just to secure an appointment. Meanwhile, more complex medical or surgical cases were often referred to specialty centers, leaving pet parents frustrated. Driven by this gap, Drs. Fauron and Ruocco envisioned a clinic that would break this cycle one that offered reliable same-day appointments, in-house consultations, and most procedures without unnecessary referrals. A key mission of Coyote Ridge is to provide affordable veterinary urgent care to the community. Whether it's a routine ear infection or a complex medical or surgical emergency, we're here to help whether you're an existing client or not. Since opening, Drs. Fauron and Ruocco have poured their hearts into making Coyote Ridge Fort Collins a trusted part of the community. By January 2025, our clinic has grown to a four-doctor practice, ensuring we can continue to meet the growing demand for urgent care and same-day appointments. In November 2024, we proudly expanded to Berthoud, a town that we're excited to serve with the same compassionate, gold-standard care our Fort Collins clients have come to expect
