Dr. Victoria Staus grew up in Massachusetts. Her father was a small animal veterinarian who owned and operated his own practice. She grew up helping him throughout her childhood. She moved to Colorado in 1996 to go to school at Colorado State University where she received her Bachelors in Science in Equine Science and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004
