Bijou Animal Hospital has been serving central Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region since 1959. You can expect competent and compassionate care for your cats, dogs, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits and other small rodents in a comfortable and clean environment

Bijou Animal Hospital has been serving central Colorado Springs and the Pikes Peak Region since 1959. Dr. Vern Smith established Bijou Animal Hospital in 1959. Dr. Bill Willhoit joined Dr. Smith in 1971 and together they continued to build the wonderful hospital we have today. Dr. Smith retired in January of 2000 and that is when Dr. Colvin became the owner with Dr. Willhoit. Dr. Willhoit retired in May of 2018 and at that time Dr. Bausch and Dr. Colvin became owners of Bijou Animal Hospital. Dr. Colvin retired in 2022 and now Dr. Severson and Dr. Bausch are the current owners

Mission — We at Bijou Animal Hospital strive to provide the best medical care to our patients, superior customer service to our clients, employ top staff in all departments, and operate in an environmentally friendly manner while still charging a reasonable price for our services
