Eugene R. Clothier, DMV, graduated from Kansas State University in 1968. He is currently licensed in Colorado and Kansas. The practice is limited to dogs and cats. His rural background defines his character. Five years in the Air Force Veterinary Corps and multiple locations later provides over 40 years of experience in different cultures and life styles. During the Air Force experience he received the Air Force Commendation Medal for Rabies Control and Health programs initiated for the military and local Thai government. As a civilian veterinarian, he found the first documented case of Tropical Canine Pancytopenia in Virginia (AVMA Journal, July 1, 1995, p. 71). His many years of practice come with a wealth of common sense, experience, practicality and wisdom. He was included in the 1993 – 1994 edition of National Who’s Who in Veterinary Medicine. In 2009 he semi-retired from his full service hospital in Colorado Springs. He provided part time relief services to Compassion Animal Hospital in Woodland Park and then established Great Value Pet Clinic in October 2010
