Overview
Ensuring a peaceful passing for your beloved friend. We strive to assist each pet, and their families, through their final transition in a surrounding that is peaceful, familiar, and comfortable
Dr. Melissa Vollaire founded Transitions Veterinary Service in 2015 to provide compassionate in-home euthanasia and end-of-life care for pets and their families throughout Colorado Springs, Monument, and surrounding communities. As a veterinarian and lifelong animal lover, Dr. Vollaire understands the deep bond people share with their pets and the heartbreak that comes with saying goodbye. Through years of veterinary practice, she recognized that many families wanted a more peaceful alternative to a clinical setting for their pet’s final moments. This led her to create a service focused on helping pets remain comfortable in the familiar surroundings of home, surrounded by the people who love them most
