Overview

Holistic veterinary medicine. We aim to please. Because they're so much more than 'just a pet'. Welcome to Aspen Park Vet Hospital! I'm Dr. Jena Questen. Most people call me DrQ. I'm so glad you're here because, like me, you believe your pets are part of the family. As a holistic vet and THE life coach for people with pets, my mission is to provide compassionate and accessible care to help your animal companions live happier, healthier, and longer lives. And of course, to make sure you and your animals have that movie magic bond you long for. For over 40 years, Aspen Park Vet Hospital has been committed to providing the highest quality care to our patients in and around the Conifer Colorado area. We offer a wide range of traditional services, like wellness exams, vaccines and surgery, and also innovative, holistic and integrative options like acupuncture, herbal remedies, and therapeutic laser treatments. As the first fish hospital in Colorado, we also have a special passion for our finned friends, and I am proud to be a certified aquatic veterinarian (CertAqV). I'm also a certified Professional Animal Trainer and Veterinary Acupuncturist. And I'm proud and honored to be the SBA's 2022 Colorado Small Business Person of the Year. At Aspen Park Vet Hospital, we support your right to determine what's best for you and your pet, with no pressure

Aspen Park Veterinary Hospital was established by Dr. H.C. “Doc” Gurney, Jr. (1930-2023) over 40 years ago. Doc Gurney developed a wide reaching reputation for doing everything possible to help his patients. He believed in treating the whole animal, and was a pioneer in the fusion of eastern medicine with traditional western veterinary practices. Doc respected the power of the bond formed between an animal and their people, and he always kept that in mind with all he did. APVH, now led by holistic Veterinarian Dr. Jena Questen (DrQ), is the continuation of Doc Gurney's innovative work and commitment to animal welfare
