Dr. Sanderson is a Colorado native hailing from Castle Rock, CO and Franktown, CO. She grew her passion for animals through her involvement with 4-H, FFA and riding and showing horses. She always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and one day owning her own practice. After pursuing her undergraduate work in Equine Sciences at Colorado State University she was accepted into CSU's veterinary school. Dr. Sanderson graduated from Colorado State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2015 and became certified in veterinary medical acupuncture that same year. Upon graduation she worked at an equine practice for a year, followed by a small animal hospital for over four years
