Birch Tree Animal Hospital was established by Dr. Carsten in 1988 with the goal of providing the finest veterinary care available. Since 1992, the office has been located in a Craftsman Bungalow style home that was built in the early 1900's. The Craftsman style design was guided by a respect for natural materials and craftsmanship with a focus on maintaining harmony with its natural surrounding. During renovations to convert the home into a veterinary facility, a great deal of effort was focused on retaining all the turn-of-the-century architectural details and sense of harmony while designing an efficient, modern veterinary facility
