Canyon Country Animal Hospital was founded by Grand Junction native, Dr. Kyle Dunn. He's always considered the Western Slope his home. After graduating high school he went to Panama for two years where he served a church mission. Afterwards, he graduated from BYU and attended Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following graduation in 2008, he went to southern California to work in a busy veterinary practice. In 2012 he completed his valuable experience in Southern California. He then moved home to Grand Junction where he could be close to family and enjoy all the area has to offer. He worked for another vet until starting his own practice in 2014. He started by doing house calls but business quickly grew. He then rented space from another vet until opening Canyon Country Animal Hospital. In 2019 and after tremendous growth, the practice moved into the current location at 2516 Broadway
