Dog-reactive Nash, was escorted into the clinic through a private side door, like a furry Harry Styles. In a brief moment between barks, their long-time vet politely asked their mom, Leigh Hocker Radtke, to never bring them in together again. For Leigh, a busy corporate exec, scheduling time for three separate vet visits was a challenge. So, she looked for a vet who made house calls. But the only ones she found were vets who specialized in end-of-life care. This was a problem—one Leigh knew she wasn't alone in facing. Vet visits freak out lots of dogs—and cats, who are even less fond of being chauffeured in kitty carriers. Fortunately, Leigh is a professional problem solver. In fact, she's had decades of success launching innovative solutions that improve everyday life for companies such as the first online bill pay app, the first mobile payment app, and pioneering technologies (IoT) that track everything from pharmaceuticals to skiers on lifts. She knew this was a problem she could solve. She believed so strongly that her solution could help pets get the care they need to live healthy, happy lives that she's launched a company to make it happen. Leigh brought her friend Kara Mohler on board. Another passionate pet parent, Kara has decades of corporate success leading teams and building systems and structures for brands like Western Union, Nike and Tesla. Sarah Pew completes this trifecta of powerful women. A devoted pet parent and animal aficionado, Sarah has more than 20 years of marketing and communications experience bringing brands to life including Uber, Visa and Wells Fargo. With an advisory board of veterinary and pet industry experts, Leigh, Kara and Sarah are redefining how wellness reaches pets. Ginger & Nash is rooted in a love for pets, friendship and expertise. Ginger was Leigh's heart dog. They saved one another from difficult circumstances when Leigh was younger. Nash—who requires private entrances to the vet clinic like a celebrity—is one of Leigh's beloved current canines. Named in their honor, Ginger & Nash works to help bridge the gap between pets and pet care, so pet families can savor more of the love and joy dogs and cats bring to their lives
