Overview
Dr. Jeff Feinman offers a different approach to pet care that aligns with the natural rhythms of your pet's body and life. It focuses on overall well-being and quality of life rather than just treating symptoms or relying on conventional animal medicines
Dr. Jeff holds both molecular biology and veterinary degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, and has conducted research for major academic institutions including the Department of Biochemistry at Penn's School of Medicine. After an internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Dr. Jeff put his academic career on hold to work on the cutting edge of emergency veterinary medicine. He then started the original HomeVet housecall practice to diagnose and help heal dogs and cats in their homes, and treat the alarming rates of allergy, cancer and other degenerative diseases in the pet population. Frustrated with the lack of results from conventional therapy of these chronic diseases, Dr. Jeff continued his lifelong dedication by bringing the best of both worlds to natural, holistically-applied therapies. He conducted research and experimented with the effects of homeopathic drugs ('remedies') on himself and his pets, before incorporating them into his own practice. Dr. Jeff subsequently studied with Dr Richard Pitcairn, David Little, Paul Herscu and Andre´Saine and became the first Certified Veterinary Homeopath in the state of Connecticut
