Dr. Hines grew up in Kansas City, Missouri with a dream of becoming a veterinarian. Supported by his family, and mentor, he pursued this passion with determination. After attending Xavier University of Louisiana, he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005. Since then, he has dedicated himself to the community, by beginning his career at Takoma Park Animal Clinic. After relocating to Houston, Texas in 2011 he had a transformative experience which ignited his passion for high-volume spay/neuter and shelter medicine. Returning to Washington, D.C. in 2015, he lent his skills to Humane Rescue Alliance, PG SPCA Spay/Neuter & several local clinics. This afforded him the opportunity to meet many great pets and provide them with care. With a vision of making a lasting impact, he opened his own clinic, enabling him to serve the community on his own terms
