This hospital is located in the heart of Hockessin, Delaware, and has been serving the local community and the surrounding area since the 1960s. In 2006, with the encourage from our animal-loving community, Hockessin was moved from a small farmhouse to a state-of-the-art facility that could offer comprehensive veterinary care including; sick pet care, dentistry, surgery, in-house diagnostics and digital radiography. Hockessin Animal Hospital was purchased by Dr. Bruce Damme in 2001, merging with Windcrest Animal Hospital in order to provide 24/7 emergency care to its patients. Hockessin Animal Hospital is one of 5 veterinary hospitals that comprise the Windcrest Animal Hospital Group. In 2020, four of the groups practicing veterinarians joined together to purchase all 5 practices. They operate as equal partners overseeing the standards of patient care and client service in each of these locations. Dr. Anthony Dallatore is both an owning partner and the Chief of Staff at the Hockessin location
