Overview

At Animal Medical Center, we are dedicated to providing high-quality vet care to pets of all sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments. Our passionate team of veterinarians and staff are committed to helping cats, dogs, and exotic pets that often don’t get the focused veterinary care they deserve, like reptiles and small mammals

Our founder, Dr. Jim Antunano, established Animal Medical Center in 1988 with the vision to build a state-of-the-art veterinary clinic in Brandon that would complement his vast knowledge and the experience of his skilled staff. Dr. Antunano started the clinic in a small storefront in 1988. His vision was realized when he relocated to a larger, modern facility where he was able to incorporate such things as Laser Surgery, Ultrasonography, Digital Radiography and more. The clinic has since relocated to a modern, 4000 square-foot location
