Overview

Veterinary Services, Grooming, Boarding. Traditional and holistic medicine, Laser Therapy, Dentistry, Stem Cell Surgery, Animal Hospital

Established in the late 80's, Keene Road Pet Hospital has been serving pets and their owners in Clearwater and the greater Tampa Bay area for more than 25 years. The practice grew quickly as Dr Cowden and his wife Lynda were able to offer sincere friendly down home personal care in the cute little house with wooden floors at the corner of Keene Road and Gulf to Bay. As the business grew, the family did as well. Clients recall the kids toddling around the hospital helping Mom and Dad love on the patients. As the kids got older it became necessary for Mom to step into more of a behind the scenes manager role, so that she could give the kids 100% of her attention. We outgrew the little house so were contemplating adding a 2nd story, when Walgreens offered to buy the property. In 1995 we moved across Gulf to Bay to our current location by McDonalds on Pegasus Ave. With an all new larger more modern facility, we changed our name to A Pet's Place; since we were no longer on Keene Road

Mission — Our Mission... continues to be to offer the superior service with state of the art equipment; to be on the cutting edge, with treatments like Stem Cell Surgery and Laser Therapy, to exceed our client's expectations, to alleviate pain and suffering, and improve the quality of life for our patients affordability
