Robertson Vet Clinic was founded by Dr. Jessica Robertson in 2015, driven by a growing demand from clients for in-home visits and house calls. Initially operating as Robertson Mobile Vet, the clinic started as a small, mobile-exclusive service that allowed Dr. Robertson to provide personalized care directly to patients in the comfort of their homes. This approach fostered strong relationships between Dr. Robertson and her clients, as she was able to spend quality time educating pet owners about their pets’ health needs. However, as the practice grew, Dr. Robertson recognized the limitations of a solely mobile service, particularly concerning how many patients she could see in a day, especially when dealing with health concerns that required more extensive care. This realization sparked her desire to expand her services and better meet the needs of her clients and their pets. In response to this demand, she opened a brick-and-mortar clinic, transforming mobile only services into a hybrid practice that combines both mobile and in-clinic services. This expansion allowed clients to visit the clinic for annual preventative care and urgent issues, enabling Dr. Robertson to offer a wider range of services, including surgical procedures, x-rays, and same-day hospitalization options that could not be performed in a home setting. As Robertson Vet Clinic continues to flourish, Dr. Robertson remains committed to providing quality veterinary services to her patients and their owners in and around the Gainesville area. To further support the growth of the clinic’s capabilities and reach, she added another veterinarian to the team.
