Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, pocket pets, snakes, lizards, chameleons, turtles, poultry and wildlife - she sees them all. Together, let's help protect them. With extensive experience in a wide variety of exotic pets and wildlife, Doc is comfortable treating domestic fowl (chickens, turkeys, ducks, geese, swans, etc). Avian patients will require a yearly exam prior to grooming services. Homosassa Animal & Bird Hospital is a privately owned family hospital. We are a local small business that does not report to a big corporation. This allows for independent thinking and problem solving that is tailored to our friends and neighbors in the community. As an independent practice, Doc provides pro-bono medical services for Wildlife rescues, Florida Fish & Game, and occasionally Homosassa Wildlife Park when a local veterinary hospital is required.
