I graduated in 2014 from St. George's University and took an internship in Kentucky working at Woodford Equine Clinic. For 2 years I worked along side some amazing doctors and on all class of horses from thoroughbred racehorses to show horses. I did a lot of work at the thoroughbred sales on yearling and 2-year-old horses. After my time in Kentucky I moved to Texas to work in a hospital while trying to secure a position in a surgical residency program! While in Texas I worked on cow horses and rope horses, but I also worked on upper level show horses. Most recently I finished working at the racetracks in Louisiana. Unfortunately I did not get into a residency but I am loving the path that I have chosen. I look forward to spending lots of time in Ocala treating horses with the best possible medicine available!
