Dr. Elizabeth Anne Williams, a passionate veterinarian, earned her degree from the University of Florida in 2007. Following a distinguished career in the US Army, she returned to her roots in Suwannee County. Dr. Williams combines her military discipline with her veterinary expertise to deliver top-notch care to livestock, continuing her family's farming legacy. 1970-1988: Lived on Wilbro Dairy in Brevard County Florida, learning cow management from her father and grandfather. Spent summers in Suwannee County with her grandparents, tending rabbits, quail and hydroponic vegetables. 1984-1988: Participated in 4H steer shows at Central Florida Fair. 1992: Graduated from USAFA with a degree in History. Served in California, Korea and Italy before returning to Brevard County in 1997. Assisted family with managing strawberry UPick and watermelons. 2000: Moved to Gainesville Florida to pursue pre-veterinary course work and veterinary degree at University of Florida. Worked for UF dairy education unit as milker, calf wrangler and shift lead. 2003-2007: Studied Veterinary Medicine at UF CVM – completing trips to Honduras, Mexico, Chile and Argentina and earning a certificate in International Veterinary Medicine as well as her DVM degree. Also was awarded a scholarship from the US Army and re-entered the US military, this time as a Veterinary Corps Officer. 2007-2022: Veterinarian, US Army Veterinary Corps. Served as an Army veterinarian around the globe including Kuwait, Iraq, Paraguay, Kyrgyzstan and the Caribbean. 2023-Present: Owner & Lead Veterinarian, Suwannee Mobile Veterinary Services PLLC. Following her uncles' passing, she moved back to Suwannee County and purchased her grandmother's farm from her aunt. In 2024 she started Suwannee Mobile Veterinary Services to fill the need for on-farm livestock veterinary care
