Overview

Providing outstanding service to pets and their owners in a caring and compassionate manner

Wickham Animal Hospital & Boarding has been a trusted part of our community since 1979, when Dr. Steiner opened the doors as Wickham Road Animal Hospital and Bird Clinic. From the very beginning, he created a practice that felt like home — combining compassionate, personal care with top-tier veterinary medicine. In 1984, Dr. Steiner expanded both the practice and the building to include a full boarding facility, giving pets a safe, comfortable place to stay while their families were away. Before his passing, he brought Dr. Rosen on board to help continue the work he loved. Dr. Rosen carried forward his vision and values, maintaining the same high standard of care and warm, welcoming environment. In 2019, Dr. Steiner’s wife made the decision to sell the hospital to Dr. Hadley, marking the next chapter in its story. Today, Wickham Animal Hospital & Boarding continues to honor that legacy, combining the personal, compassionate care Dr. Steiner championed with a commitment to advanced medicine. We strive to prevent disease through education, guide clients in making informed decisions, and offer the most advanced diagnostic and treatment options available — all while creating a welcoming, supportive environment for pets and their families

Mission — At Wickham Animal Hospital & Boarding we provide everything from routine wellness care to advanced surgery. Our goal is simple: to keep your pets happy, healthy, and out of the hospital whenever possible. But if illness or injury does occur, our experienced team and state-of-the-art equipment are here to provide skilled, compassionate care — helping your pet recover and return home as quickly as possible
